About Me

Hello! I am Ms. Morgan and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! We are going to have a great year together exploring, experimenting, and growing! My professional goal is to allow your child to explore the world and its different world views while in my class. I hope to stimulate their minds and encourage them to think outside of the box.

I know from my own personal experience, as a student, that no two students think or learn alike. I will use different approaches to teach your child so that every child in our class has the opportunity to learn.

I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico but I have lived in Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and Arizona. Of all the places I have lived New Mexico and Arizona have been by far my favorite. I suppose I am a desert rat that loves the heat! I have two younger brothers and I am a mama to a Corgi puppy named Autumn. I am a wife who loves to go hiking, hunting, and fishing with my husband. We are outdoor enthusiasts!

I graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelors of Art in Criminology and Psychology. I spent two years working for the Bernalillo County Detention Center and 3 years working as a paralegal for both private and State attorneys. My heart’s desire and my calling is to fight for the children in our community and to serve them so that they can create a better world for us all.

I chose to become a teacher because I think that all students have the capability to be successful even up against tough circumstances. I have watched my mother cheer on her students for many years and I have loved being able to watch a smile spread across their faces when they finally understand a concept. While I look forward to seeing that same smile spread across your students face it is of equal importance to me that your student understands that they are capable, smart, valued, and loved while in our classroom.
